First Meeting in Altoona!

I had my first meeting with my fellow delegates in Altoona this past weekend. Got to know my fellow delegates a little better, and learn some geography and history about the area in Canada we will be traveling. Got 5 homework assignments to do before the next meeting in March to me busy and learning about Canada. Should be fun!

Some other news, I got to meet one of my State Representatives, Matt Gabler. He wrote a support letter for me to send to local businesses asking to help sponsor my trip! Here's a picture of me with him receiving that letter:

On a side note, keep your fingers crossed for me. I applied for a $1,000.00 scholarship to help fund my trip and will find out on Tuesday, February 8th if I was lucky enough to win one of those scholarships!
